ABOUT ME

Hello, I am Jenna Chorlton, a 22-year-old, First Class Honours BA (Hons) Fashion Promotion Postgraduate. In my chosen industry of fashion, I am a dedicated, innovative, and trustworthy person striving to undertake new challenges. I am eternally grateful, that I had the opportunity to study and live in a city like Manchester.  Manchester is known for its high-end couture and designers shop but also independent brands which I love. Before university, I studied Fashion, Media and Promotion at West Suffolk College in my hometown. Having this 2-year experience and induction to the industry, I shortly developed and recognised a passion for styling, art direction, and socials/pr. However, since graduating, I decided to make the move to London to fulfil my dreams of working in fashion. I believe London has a lot to offer the fashion world and would provide me opportunities to network and really delve into my career. I have always had a huge love for fashion and the surrounding lifestyle it entails. I am endlessly styling clothes and searching for new outfits for all occasions. I enjoy following the latest fashion trends and styles on social media like Instagram, Pinterest and TikTok however, I have developed my own personal style influenced from various people and 60’s fashion. Although I love shopping and creating new outfits, I would say, sustainability is at my core, especially since studying fashion, has opened my eyes to see how much fashion is impacting our environment. I undertake my sustainable knowledge by shopping from brands like Depop and Vinted. Not only do I shop on this app, but I also sell my unwanted and old clothing on there, as I believe ‘one man's loss, is another man's treasure’.  In addition, I love taking photographs whether that’s of fashion, locations, friends, or nature. I have always had an interest in photography from a young age and have been privileged enough to excel this hobby into a lifestyle. I love the thought of having visual memories of my life which I can cherish forever.
